About me
My name is Sole, I am from Nicaragua, a tropical country in Central America. I am an English-Spanish translator and Spanish teacher since 2008. I like translating but I love teaching. That's why I decided to get a Master degree in teaching Spanish as a second language. I have had great experiences teaching European and United.
I have been a Latin American culture promoter since I was a teenager. We as "latinos" have quite a lot music, dances, delicious food, etc. to share with other cultures.
My methodology
The focus in my classes is Communicative Grammar. This helps students to use Spanish in real life communication activites. I make sure students feel comfortable and confident while learning as this creates psycological conditions for students to acquire skills and knowledge in an efficient way.
In our encounters in front of the screen we talk as much as possible to develop oral comprehension and expression. I provide a lot of materials like videos, readings etc. so you can study according to your own pace. The content of our classes will always be developed in a dialogue between me and the students. While we take our studies seriously, our classes will have a relaxed atmosphere.
